Ohio State erased a 10-point halftime deficit to stun rival Michigan 31-24 on Saturday at Ohio Stadium, keeping the Buckeyes College Football Playoff hopes alive.
Michigan led 17-7 early behind a dominant rushing attack, but Ohio State quarterback Will Howard threw two second-half touchdowns and the Buckeyes defense forced two punts in the fourth quarter to seal it.
"The rivalry means everything," head coach Ryan Day said. "Our guys never flinched."
The win snaps a three-game losing streak in the series for Ohio State, who now await the CFP selection committee final rankings.
